Today's Podcast Interview Features an International Story of First Love

Join us today for a special treat as the owner of Writers in the Sky Yvonne Perry interviews Storyheart, the author of the new novel Across the Pond. This book shares a story of first love that captures the innocence of the relationship without minimizing the very real feelings involved. When Fred Squire flies from England to spend part of the summer with family friends in America, he never expects to find a girlfriend living under the same roof. As the romance unfolds, the author shares a lighthearted examination of the differences in the two cultures as well as adds some elements of mystery and conflict.

During the discussion, Storyheart will discuss his own background as a transplant from England, his decision to write a love story geared toward a younger audience, and how he developed his main characters. He also will share his personal experiences with the self-publishing process and offer some advice for first-time writers concerning both the development of a story and the work needed to get the completed product published.
