A Baby Boomer Takes an Honest Look at His Generation

Author M. C. Lloyd will be joining us on the Writers in the Sky podcast on Friday, December 12 to discuss his take on the "Woodys"

Writers in the Sky's author assistant, Sarah Moore, will interview M. C. Lloyd about his new release titled Moving Beyond Woodstock. Lloyd is a member of the Baby Boom generation who shares a critical take on the subset of his peers to whom he refers as the Woodys (based on the famous 1969 concert on a farm in New York). Lloyd uses his background as a poet to create a humorous depiction of the legacy created by the "sex, drugs, and rock 'n' roll" lifestyle of the Woodys.

While there certainly is a great deal of humor in Moving Beyond Woodstock, Lloyd also shares some serious concrns about the impact that the Baby Boom generation is having on politics, business, and our families. These frustrations are certain to be covered in the half-hour interview, and listeners can expect to hear some strong opinions!
