Can You Help This Author Help Rescued Dachshunds?

Barbara Techel, author of Indie Excellence Awards Finalist Frankie, the Walk 'N Roll Dog, is trying to sell as many books as she can for the month of September so she can donate a percentage to Dachshund Rescue of North America (DRNA) to help the 138 doxies that were rescued from a horrific puppy mill in West Virginia.

"The Washington Post had a story about it and the first paragraph talks about a doxie named Frankie. As you can imagine, it tore my heart out," says Barbara. "I am in contact with someone from DRNA and I'm trying to get word out. Any thoughts, suggestions?"

If you have ideas, please blog www.joyfulpaws.typepad.com with Barbara and give her and Frankie some ideas about how to sell books for the doxies. Or, you may leave a comment here and I (Yvonne Perry) will make sure Barbara gets your helpful suggestion. Thank you!
