Short Adaptation Film Contest

Do you enjoy using a video camera? Would you like to enter a contest and possibly win $1,000? Jamie Beckett and Write On! Creative Writing Services has joined efforts to produce the Short Adaptation Film Contest. All you have to do is read Burritos and Gasoline by Jamie Beckett (a copy of the book is provided with the $25 entry fee) and create a video depicting any scene or single storyline from the book. Shoot for drama, comedy, suspense, horror, romance or any combination you wish. Our only limitation being that you shoot with an “R” rating or lower as your guideline. The Short Adaptation Film Contest commences on September 1, 2007. All submissions must be postmarked no later than midnight, March 21, 2008. So fire up that imagination and get cracking! Your adaptation just might be the one our judges have been waiting for.
