We are learning to live from the inside out as we do our shadow work and remind the dark that it is part of the light. We are integrating those lesser-loved parts of ourselves to become part of our authentic expression of consciousness. We also talked about our weakest link, the place where we are most vulnerable to “backlash” that causes suffering when encountering detrimental energy. Tune in to your body and learn what herbs or stones work to personally help you.

This call has several techniques for managing your personal energy so you are not as affected by external energies. Veronica shared how to work with an energetic bubble to keep your vibration strong inside your energy field. Yvonne demonstrated how to draw your personal aura closer to your body; she gave a light language blessing to clear the auric field. We did the reset breath to free emotional energy from the limbic system and move it to the front of the brain where it can be properly processed without getting stuck.

The genealogy of the Bates family of Cherokee County, Georgia is traced back to Charlton Bates and Nancy Kelly (O'Kelly) Bates, who are first mentioned living in South Carolina in 1812. Through DNA testing, we know that our family has a ancestor blood-related to James Shockley Bates.

The descending lineage mentioned in this book are David Ward and Nancy Martin, Thomas F. Bates and Sarah Elizabeth Ward, Savannah Bates and Alexander Newton Smith, and Lemuel Harris Bates and Lillian Margaret Smith.

Many of the children and extended family members of these family heads are mentioned in this book, and more than 200 photos document the journey.

Of broader interest, the book contains some history of the Cherokee and Hall Counties of Georgia as remembered by the Bates family who lived in the area.
