As a child, she endured the pain of child abuse and abandonment, in part because she learned to use writing as a tool to express her feelings. She decided to share her message in order to help others overcome their own traumatic experiences. It is also a must-read for the parents, children, partners and friends of those who have been abused.
Sherree was born in the Mississippi Delta, but raised in Portland, Oregon. She has written articles on a range of topics, as well as a weekly newsletter for children. She is also a wife and mother and works for a major telecommunications company.
