My guest today is author and philosopher Reece T. Harris, who spoke to me about his new book, Memoirs of the Phoenix: Shattered.
Reece, who is a former Professor of Mathematics at New York University and tutor at St. John's College in Santa Fe, New Mexico, considers himself not only a teacher, but a student of life. He was inspired to write this book, he says, not only by his own quest for knowledge, but the questions posed to him by his students. He invites his readers to to join the conversation, leave their comfort zones, and above all, never stop seeking knowledge.
