Born in Albania in 1944, Ivzi Cipuri’s life story has led him around the globe as a diplomat. He served his country as both the director of foreign relations for the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Education respectively, and in the 1990s supported the democratic movement in Albania. However, it isn’t stories of his political career or views that fill the pages of his first published work, but instead the story of his great love and the courageous fight for a life that even now he cannot let go of.
