Books and Bios to Gain Credibility

Writing and publishing a book can gain you more credibility than just about anything else. No matter what business you are in, having written a book establishes you as an expert and makes you stand out from your competition. If you are a keynote speaker, you have more than enough material than can be covered in one speech! you can boost your credibility by having a display table at the back or front of the room where you offer your book, CDs, and DVDs for sale. Think of your entertaining and information-packed talk as a commercial, and use it to whet the appetite and inspire the attendees to invest in your products.

A good biographical sketch of yourself and your business is very important written piece of your overall marketing needs. Writing a good bio about yourself can be difficult because even though you know yourself better than anyone else, you may find it hard to tell what you are good at and write it in third person. Here is a list of questions to help you get started writing your bio.

Excellent advice! That is why I wanted a non-fiction book to my credit - to establish credibility as a speaker.
