Liminal Minimal - Poetry by Yvonne Perry

Liminal Minimal

Limited by a malady that keeps us locked in our old story and blocks our path forward. We back up and hit something—some blockage that holds the gate to the Promised Land shut.

So we wander in the wilderness worse than the oppression of Egypt’s slavery.

But it is familiar.

A harbor, not a safe place, but rather one of resentment. Desiring change, knowing the life could be an adventurous journey if we surrender to the mystery of self-discovery.

Stepping across the threshold and embracing this moment fully. Change is my anchor. Embracing possibilities I emerge in peace, leaving the past behind, seeing a light in the future, guiding this ship into safe refuge—a place better than I ever imagined.
